The Coolest Newest Video Advertisement
Have you seen the coolest and the newest video fade-out advertisement online? Then here is the Video Fade-Out Example for you to watch and see it for yourself. Just recently, Jokeroo launched the very first video fade-out advertisement and pioneered this new ad format. This advertisement launching is also for the upcoming movie by the Warner Bros., Speed Racer. Have fun watching! :).

Press Release:
TORONTO, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)----Jokeroo.com, http://www.jokeroo.com, one of the pioneers in internet video and entertainment, has premiered the video fade-out advertisement with the upcoming movie, Speed Racer. The new format was designed to attract marketers across the globe with an advertisement that's high impact and engaging, while avoiding any negative impact on the user.
Although the campaign is still in its infancy, it has produced spectacular results posting a click-through north of 4 percent, which is much higher than eMarketer's quoted preroll standard of 0.5 to 0.9 percent. "When coming up with the idea we were looking for something that offered great performance for the advertiser while keeping the user happy," says Aleks Dugonjic, the President of Jokeroo.com.
The creative takes up the full screen outside of the video player environment, which avoids interrupting the user experience but allows the advertiser's brand to go unnoticed. The fade-out can last up to thirty seconds until it slowly starts fading out and the Jokeroo.com webpage appears. A live example can be found here: http://www.jokeroo.com/funnyvideos/transformers_stop_motion.html
About Jokeroo.com
Jokeroo.com is one of the leading video entertainment websites on the market today, ranked in the top 50 by comScore in multimedia and 2nd in humor. The company currently hosts over 6 million unique visitors, 150,000+ community members, and has over 1 million active email subscriptions.

In Perspective
This is priceless!

All these examples do NOT imply that gasoline is cheap;
it just illustrates how outrageous some prices are....
You will be really shocked by the last one!!!!
(At least, I was...)

Compared with Gasoline......
Think a gallon of gas is expensive?

This makes one think, and also puts things in perspective.

Diet Snapple 16 oz $1.29 ... $10.32 per gallon

Lipton Ice Tea 16 oz $1.19 ..........$9.52 per gallon

Gatorade 20 oz $1.59 …. $10.17 per gallon

Ocean Spray 16 oz $1.25 ......... $10.00 per gallon

Brake Fluid 12 oz $3.15 ......... $33.60 per gallon

Vick's Nyquil 6 oz $8.35 ... $178.13 per gallon

Pepto Bismol 4 oz $3.85 … . $123.20 per gallon

Whiteout 7 oz $1.39 …. . $25.42 per gallon

Scope 1.5 oz $0.99 …. .$84.48 per gallon
And this is the REAL KICKER...

Evian water 9 oz $1.49..........$21.19 per gallon!
$21.19 for WATER
and the buyers don't even know the source
(Evian spelled backwards is Naive.)
Ever wonder why computer printers are so cheap?
So they have you hooked for the ink.
Someone calculated the cost of the ink at................
you won't believe it..................
but it is true........................
$5,200 a gal. (five thousand two hundred dollars)
So, the next time you're at the pump,
be glad your car doesn't run on
water, Scope,Whiteout, Pepto Bismol, Nyquil
or God forbid, Printer Ink.

Forrest Gump goes to Heaven! :)

The day finally arrived. Forrest Gump dies and goes to Heaven. He is at
the Pearly Gates, met by St. Peter himself. However, the gates are closed,
and Forrest approaches the gatekeeper.
St. Peter said, "Well, Forrest,
it is certainly good t! o see you We have heard a lot about you. I must
tell you, though, that the place is filling up fast, and we have been administering an entrance examination for everyone. The test is short, but you have to pass it before you can get into Heaven."
Forrest responds, "It sure is good to be here, St. Peter, sir. But nobody ever told me about any entrance exam. I sure hope that the test ain't too hard.
Life was a big enough test as it was." St. Peter continued, "Yes, I know, Forrest, but the test is only three questions.
First:
What two days of the week begin with the letter T?
Second:
How many seconds are there in a year?
Third:!
What is God's first name?" Forrest leaves to think the questions over. He returns the next day and sees St. Peter, who waves him up, and
says, "Now that you have had a chance to think the questions over, tell me your answers"
Forrest replied, "Well, the first one -- which two days in the week begins with the letter "T"?
Shucks, that one is easy. That would be Today and Tomorrow." The Saint's eyes opened wide and he exclaimed, "Forrest, that is not what I was thinking, but you do have a point, and I guess I did not specify, so I will give you credit for that answer. How about the next one?" asked St. Peter. "How many seconds in a year?
Now that one is harder," replied Forrest, but I thunk and thunk about
that, and I guess the only answer can be twelve."
Astounded, St. Peter said, "Twelve? Twelve? Forrest, how in Heaven's name could you come up with twelve seconds in a year?"
Forrest replied, "Shucks, there's got to be twelve: January 2nd, February 2nd, March 2nd... "
"Hold it," interrupts St. Peter. "I see where you are going with this, and I see your point, though that was not quite what I had in mind....but I will have to give you credit for that one, too. Let us go on with the third and final question.
Can you tell me God's first name"? "Sure," Forrest replied, "it's Andy."
"Andy?" exclaimed an exasperated and frustrated St Peter.
"Ok, I can understand how you came up with your answers to my first two questions, but just how in the world did you come up with the name Andy as the first name of God?"
"Shucks, that was the easiest one of all," Forrest replied. "I learnt it from the song, "ANDY WALKS WITH ME, ANDY TALKS WITH ME, ANDY TELLS ME I AM HIS OWN."
St. Peter opened the Pearly Gates, and said: "Run Forrest, run."

Hello My Friend Tag

Thank you Lisa for this meme. I wanna pass it along to Cel and Chant.
Why God Made Friends
God made the world with a heart full of love
Then He looked down from heaven above
And saw that we all need a helping hand
Someone to share with, who`ll understand
He made special people to see us through
In times of happiness and in sadness
A person whom we can always depend
Someone we can call a friend.

Friendship Meme
This meme was given to me by Juliana. Thank you sis for the meme of friendship.
Anger is only one letter short of danger. If someone betrays you once, it is his fault; If he betrays you twice, it is your fault. Great minds discuss ideas; Average minds discuss events; Small minds discuss people. He, who loses money, loses much; He, who loses a friend, loses much more; He, who loses faith, loses all. Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art. Learn from the mistakes of others. You can’t live long enough to make them all yourself. Friends, you and me…You brought another friend…And then there were 3…We started our group…Our circle of friends…And like that circle…There is no beginning or end…Yesterday is history.Tomorrow is mystery.Today is a gift.
I am freely giving this to all my blogger friends out there who still don't have it. Come and grab it for free! LOL!

The Complications of English
Let's face it, sometimes - English is a crazy language. There is no egg in eggplant or ham in hamburger; neither apple nor pine in pineapple. English muffins weren't invented in England or French fries in France . Sweetmeats are candies while sweetbreads, which aren't sweet, are meat.
Why poor, book, and door are pronounced differently? We take English for granted. But if we explore its paradoxes,we find that quicks and can work slowly, boxing rings are square and a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig. And why is it that writers write but fingers don't fing, grocers don't groce and hammers don't ham? If the plural of tooth is teeth, why isn't the plural of boothbeeth?
One goose, 2 geese.
So why not one moose, 2 meese?
One index, 2 indices?
Doesn't it seem crazy that you can make amends but not one amend,
that you comb through annals of history but not a single annal?
If you have a bunch of odds and ends and get rid of all but one of them, what do you call it?
If teachers taught, why didn't preachers praught?
If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat? Sometimes I think all the English speakers should be committed to an asylum for being verbally insane.
In what language do people recite at a play and, play at a recital?
Ship by truck and, send cargo by ship?
Have noses that run and, feet that smell? How can a slim chance and a fat chance, be the same;
while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites?
How can to overlook and to oversee be opposites; while quite a lot and quite a few, are alike?Have you noticed that we talk about certain things only when they are absent?
Have you ever seen a horseful carriage or a strapful gown?
Met a sung hero or experienced requited love? Have you ever run into someone who was combobulated, gruntled, ruly or peccable?
And where are all those people who ARE spring chickens or who would ACTUALLY hurt a fly?You have to marvel at the unique lunacy of a language in whichyour house can burn up as it burns down, in which you fill in aform by filling it out, and in which an alarm goes off by going on.
People, not computers, invented English and it reflects the creativity of the human race
(which, of course, isn't a race at all).
That is why, when the stars are out, they are visible,
but when the lights are out, they are invisible. And why, when I wind up my watch, I start it; but when I wind up this essay, I really end it.

WAlmart Job Interview (Hilarious!)
A Filipino Applies for a Job at Wal-Mart. An office manager at Wal-Martwas given the task of hiring an individual to fill a job opening. Aftersorting through a stackof resumes he found four people who were equallyqualified - an American, a Russian, an Australian and a Filipino. Hedecided to call the four in and ask them only one question. Their answerwould determine which of them would get the job.The day came and as thefour sat around the conference room table.
Manager:"What is the fastest thing you know of?"
Dave (American): "A THOUGHT. It just pops into your head. There's nowarning that it's on the way; it's just there. A thought is the fastestthing I know of."
Manager: "That's very good! And now you sir?" he asked Vladimir, theRussian.
Vladimir (Russian) "Hmm.... let me see. A BLINK! It comes and goes and you don't know that it ever happened. A BLINK is the fastest thing I know of."
Manager: "Excellent! The blink of an eye, that's a very popular cliche for speed."He then turned to George, the Australian who was contemplating his reply.
George (Australian): "Well, out at my dad's ranch, you step out of the house and on the wall there's a light switch. When you flip that switch, way out across the pasture the light in the barn comes on. Yep, TURNINGON A LIGHT is the fastest thing I can think of.
The interviewer was very impressed with the third answer and thought he had found his man. "It's hard to beat the speed of light" he said.Turning to Eleuterio, the Filipino, the fourth and final man, the interviewer posed the same question.
Eleuterio replied, "Apter herring da 3 frevyos ansers serrr, et's obyusto me dat da pastest ting known is Diarrhea."
"WHAT!?" said theinterviewer, stunned by the response. "O I can expleyn serrr." saidEleuterio. "YOU SEE SERR, DA odderday I wasn't peeling so good and I ransoo past to da CR or batroom. But, bipor I could THINK, BLINK, or TURNON DA LIGHT, ay '@!#~*, I already had a poo-poo in my pants.
Eleuterio is now the new "Greeter" at Wal-Mart.
