Healthy Loss-Weight Tips

If you're avoiding the pills, that's fine.

The National Weight Control Registry collects data on people who have lost at least 30 pounds and kept it off for one year or more. These successful people have five things in common:
  1. Eat breakfast. This helps prevent overeating later in the day.
  2. Choose foods low in fat and high in fiber. Fewer than 30% of your calories should come from fat.
  3. Exercise regularly. Most successful dieters exercise for about an hour a day.
  4. Step on the scale and keep a regular food journal.
  5. Watch less TV :).
