- Take it in. Spend the first month learning the basics: Watch how the place works, take notes and ask a few old-timers out to lunch (your treat) to get their advice.
- Ask How You're Doing. As you tackle new tasks, ask your boss for feedback. You will learn faster and your boss will see that you'll eager to get things right.
- Keep A Work Journal. Jot down notes about your contributions. You can rattle off your victories when it's time for a raise.
