Some medications don't mix. So if you are taking drugs together watch out for those drug interactions.
- Antibiotics - Some antibiotic drugs do not mix with citrus fruits, dairy foods, calcium or iron supplements.
- Nasal decongestant and antihistamines - some of them don't mix with blood pressure medications, tranquilizers, antidepressants or pain killers.
- Certain heart medications like calcium channel blockers for chest pain. - avoid grapefruit and grapejuice because it changes how the body absorbs those drugs.
