Perfecting Your Resume'

Take note of the following pointers when you are applying for a job.

Focus on your performance and career contributions. Listing tasks tells employers what you are paid to do; featuring achievements demonstrates how well you can do them.

Try to keep statements up to five lines and incorporate a combination of paragraphs and bullets to allow the content to be identified immediately.

Show, don't tell by using strong key words, but try not to be generic. Start each sentence or performance statement  with a vibrant action word which will make each item pop on the page and sell you as doer.
