Is Salt All That Bad?

The answer is NO. Sodium helps maintain the right balance of fluids in your body and aids muscle movement. But too much is unhealthy because it can lead to hypertension that causes heart attack and stroke.
Nearly 80% of the salt we eat comes from processed and packaged foods, so read the print carefully.

Opt for low-sodium soups which have around 100mg./can. As much as possible, skip canned goods, processed ,meats, pickled foods and condiments. Go for fresh fruits, fish and veggies.
